At the close of each year, England Furniture sets aside some time to recognize personnel who have attained significant milestones with the England Furniture Company. Many in the work force at large never expect to be with the same company for years, but England Furniture is fortunate to consistently retain numerous, loyal employees. This cycle saw 39 workers receiving a plaque for 15 years of service, 29 received a watch for 20 years, and 10 long-timers received a plaque and recliner for 30 years of service. Some in this number have never work for any employer other than the England Furniture Company.

Among those recognized were Connie Gilbert (Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager) and Kathy Hurst-Johnson (Accounts Receivable Manager). Both have been with England for 30 years. Philip Arnold (Inside Sales Manager) received his 20 year watch.

Brian Price and Opal Johnson were co-winners of the Arnold Dwight England Award of Excellence. This annual award identifies a deserving England Furniture employee for a contribution that resulted in a significant impact on the operations of the company. Scotty Coffey and Jackie Goins were also nominated. The winners and runners-up all received cash prizes
